Mr. Barendra brings over 17 years of experience in risk & compliance management across BFSI, spanning financial crime compliance, risk & controls frameworks, and compliance governance. His command of organizational design, along with strategic consulting experience, shapes the way our consulting practice and management development programs are designed for banks, financial institutions and PSUs.
Over the course of his career, he has worked on the problems that sit between regulatory expectation and day-to-day practice: how controls are designed, how accountability is assigned, and how leadership teams get reliable assurance that the framework is working. This is the perspective he brings to engagements, whether the brief is a governance review, a capability-building program or a longer transformation effort.
He holds an MBA in Finance from KIIT University and is a CAMS and CGSS certified professional and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a combination that pairs regulatory depth with process discipline.
