Introduction
This Privacy Policy is published by AmpliSkill Consulting LLP (LLPIN ACB-1411), B-1019, Kondapur, Hyderabad, Telangana 500084, India ("AmpliSkill", "we", "our" or "us"). It explains what personal data we collect when you visit ampliskill.com, send us an enquiry, request a brochure, sign up for our newsletter, take part in our programs, engage our consulting services or interact with our publications and journal, and how we use, share and protect it.
We handle personal data in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as its provisions come into force.
Information We Collect
We collect only what we need for the purposes described below:
- When you send an enquiry or request a brochure: your name, email address, phone number, organisation and designation, your message, and the details the form asks for that kind of enquiry, for example the program you are interested in, the number of participants, the city and state, topics of interest and preferred month for an in-house program, your LinkedIn profile for a partnership enquiry, or your publication and deadline for a press enquiry.
- When you sign up for our newsletter: your email address, your first name if you give it, and when you agreed and confirmed the sign-up.
- When you take part in a program or engage our consulting services: registration and attendance details, your job title and organisation, and the correspondence, documents and invoices for the program or engagement.
- When you submit to the AJMSI journal (while it is open for submissions): your manuscript, abstract and supporting materials, and the details you give as an author or reviewer.
- Technical data: with each enquiry or sign-up we keep the address of the page it was sent from, any campaign tag on the link you followed, your IP address and your browser type, to protect our forms against spam and misuse. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records how you use the site (see our Cookies Policy).
We do not take payments on this website and do not collect card or bank details through it. Payments for programs and engagements are made by bank transfer or another method stated on our invoice.
How We Collect Your Information
We collect information:
- Directly from you: through the forms on our site, by email or phone, and when you register for or take part in a program or engagement.
- Automatically: through cookies and similar technologies when you browse our site, as described in our Cookies Policy.
- From public sources: publicly available professional profiles, such as LinkedIn, where relevant to faculty, editorial board or speaker engagements.
How We Use Your Information
We use your personal data to:
- Reply to your enquiry and send you a brochure you asked for.
- Process program registrations, issue confirmations and invoices, and share pre-program materials.
- Deliver consulting services and manage client engagements.
- Manage AJMSI journal submissions, peer review and publication.
- Send newsletters and event news, only if you have signed up and confirmed.
- Understand how the site is used and improve it, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Keep our forms and systems secure and free of spam.
- Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations and enforce our terms.
Why We May Use Your Data
We use your personal data on one of these grounds:
Your consent
When you tick the consent box on an enquiry or newsletter form, or accept analytics cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see Your Rights); this does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
Doing what you asked
When you give us your details for a specific purpose, such as an enquiry, a brochure request, a program registration or a consulting engagement, we use them for that purpose.
Legal obligations
When the law requires us to keep or share records, for example for tax and accounting.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run our website and systems for us: Hostinger (website hosting and email), Google (Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies, and storage of our backups), Cloudflare (Turnstile, the check that keeps automated spam out of our forms) and YouTube (only if you play a video on our site). They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
- Academic and industry partners: only where you take part in a jointly delivered program and sharing is needed to deliver it.
- AJMSI reviewers: manuscripts are shared with peer reviewers without the authors' names; author identities are disclosed only on acceptance and with consent.
- Authorities: where we are required to by law, a court order or a lawful request from a government body.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Our website and its data are hosted by Hostinger, and some of our service providers, including Google and Cloudflare, may process data on servers outside India. Where personal data is transferred outside India, we do so only as permitted by Indian law.
Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires:
- Enquiries and brochure requests: deleted 24 months after we receive them; messages marked as spam are deleted after 30 days.
- IP addresses kept with enquiries and sign-ups: removed after 30 days.
- Newsletter sign-ups: kept until you unsubscribe; a sign-up that is never confirmed is deleted about five weeks after it was made.
- Program participant records: 7 years after the program, for accreditation and alumni purposes.
- Consulting engagement records: 7 years after the engagement closes, for project documentation and compliance.
- Journal submission records: 10 years, for academic integrity and audit.
- Backups: copies of our website data in backups are kept for up to 6 months and then deleted.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Know and access: ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct and update: ask us to correct, complete or update data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase: ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was given for, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw consent: at any time, for example with the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or the Cookie settings link at the foot of our site.
- Raise a grievance: with our Grievance Officer (below), who will resolve it within one month.
- Nominate: name another person to exercise these rights for you in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Complain to the Data Protection Board of India: if you are not satisfied with our response, once the Board's complaint process applies.
To use any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer at info@ampliskill.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request.

We protect personal data with reasonable security practices: our site is served only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections; access to enquiries and to the website's administration is limited to authorised staff, who sign in with one-time codes; our forms are protected against misuse; and our data is backed up regularly. No method of transmission over the Internet or of storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will act promptly on any breach and inform those affected where the law requires.
